Dipl.-Ing. Marcus Braun, Engineer and Managing Director
Marcus Braun is a biomedical engineer with a strong background in product development. He joined Tuebingen Scientific in 2002 after working at the Fraunhofer Technology Development Group, Stuttgart, Germany, where he was in charge of the medical device teams. Under his responsibility a number of products has been developed and successfully launched onto the market.
Marcus Braun developed Tuebingen Scientific`s Radius technology and is responsible for production and quality management. He holds a diploma in biomedical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.

Prof. Dr. Marc O. Schurr, Managing Director
Marc O. Schurr, MD, attended the Medical School of Eberhard Karls University, in Tübingen, Germany, and finished his doctoral degree in the area of medical technologies (surgical robotics). Before founding Tuebingen Scientific he was in charge of the research program for advanced technology (Section for Minimally Invasive Surgery) of Tuebingen University and directed a medical technology transfer center. Besides his appointment at Tuebingen Scientific Marc Schurr is also manager of novineon GmbH, an international CRO, consulting and venturing firm in the field of medical technology. He is also director of IHCI, the Institute of Healthcare Industries at Steinbeis University Berlin, where he is Professor of management and technology in healthcare.
