Laparoscopic fundoplication

Applications

Minimally invasive surgery is characterized by accessing the human body through small incisions and ports. Although minimally invasive surgery offers significant advantages to the patient, such as minimal operative trauma, reduced recovery time and better cosmetic results, the approach is limited with respect to instrumentation. Today's rigid instruments do not support complex surgical maneuvers, such as those used in endoscopic surgery.

Tuebingen Scientific's r2 SERIES instruments provide surgical dexterity through its advanced tip control mechanism.

The r2 SERIES instruments can be used for a wide variety of surgical procedures in different clinical fields, including general surgery, cardio-thoracic surgery, urology, gynaecology and others.
